Company

A ledger company that happens to move money

Ledgerline started in 2022 with a narrow bet: if every payment, fee, FX conversion, and payout posts to one double-entry ledger, finance stops stitching systems together and engineering stops maintaining four.

Founded

The founding team ran payments at marketplaces and banks, where month-end was a reconciliation ritual. They built the platform they wanted to buy.

Offices

Amsterdam is the head office and EU licensed entity. London covers the UK, Singapore covers Asia-Pacific. Every office is hybrid.

Markets, one contract

Growth comes from turning markets on, not from signing per-country entities. The contract, dashboard, and ledger stay the same.

How we work

Principles that show up in the product

The ledger is the product

Features ship only when they write balanced entries. Anything that would post outside the ledger waits until it can post inside it.

Fees are published

Rates, FX markup, and cut‑offs are documented and quoted upfront. If a customer cannot compute their bill from the docs, the pricing is wrong.

Boring is a feature

Releases favor correctness over novelty. The audit trail, the break report, and the settlement file get the same design attention as the dashboard.

Docs are support

The docs team answers tickets. Every escalation ends in a docs change, so the next integration starts further ahead.
